You have already taken the biggest step in getting started, you got yourself here!
The next thing to do is to book a free 15-minute phone consultation. After inquiring, I will be in touch with you within 1-2 business days and will send you a link to a FREE discovery call where we can get to know each other and see if we are the right fit.
If you feel like we are a good match, the final step would be to book our sessions together. Therapy is a commitment on both parts, I commit to showing up for you with care and compassion and in return my ask of you is to trust yourself, and stay open to the therapy process.
Sessions are bookable through the online portalor if you prefer, we can connect and book them together based on your schedule.

Yes. Confidentiality is one of the most important and highly regarded aspects of therapy. Everything you share within a session will be kept confidential as will your client data and information which are saved on the Jane platform. Jane is a PHIPA and PIPEDA compliant platform that is fully encrypted and does not allow recordings of sessions, allowing your conversation to be held exclusively between you and your therapist.
That being said, there are some limitations to confidentiality which will be reviewed with you during your first session. The biggest one, however, is listed below:
Confidentiality will be breached if there is an immediate or imminent risk of harm to yourself or someone else, there is suspicion or knowledge of harm to a child or otherwise vulnerable person, or our records are subpoenaed by a court of law.

Yes. Most healthcare/extended benefit plans partially or fully cover psychotherapy services. If you are uncertain of your coverage, please connect with your workplace to clarify what you are eligible for. While Tosha. does not do direct billing, I will provide you with a receipt which can then be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Life happens and I know that it can sometimes be necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, I do require a 24-hour notice period. This allows me to provide space for other clients, while maintaining our commitment to each other. Changes or cancellations/ no-shows that occur within the 24-hour window are subject to full session fees.
